It started with hearts of service and a conversation...

                                                                                              From One Community to Another

Carmen and Richie met while serving in leadership roles at a spiritual cooperative—a place where people came together to teach, learn, share ideas, and enjoy the fellowship that grows when people with common interests find one another.  When their time there came to an end, the friendship, conversations and connection remained. So did an idea.

They had both seen firsthand what can happen when people are given a place to gather and opportunities to connect. The question became: How could that sense of community continue beyond the walls of one physical space?

What began with an existing email list and a simple desire to keep people connected gradually grew into a much larger vision. Spiritual Network Connections became a way to help people discover the events, gatherings, practitioners, businesses, teachers, and resources already within their own communities—and, just as importantly, to help those communities discover one another.

The vision continued to expand beyond one city. What if the same opportunity could be created in communities across the country, while still keeping each one distinctly local? A place to find what is happening nearby. A directory to discover practitioners and businesses. A way to share knowledge, support local people doing meaningful work, and create more opportunities to gather in person.

Spiritual Network Connections grew from a simple belief: community already exists all around us. Sometimes, we just need a better way to find one another.
